This bushing is welded into your Bob-Tach®. The bushings simply wear out over time causing a lot of play in your attachment.
Replacing the bushings, when necessary, can help keep your machine operating like new and is a whole lot less expensive than buying a new Bob-Tach! These are hardened bushings and can easily be removed with an air arch or torch – this will greatly reduce the time needed to remove the old bushings.

When sitting in your machine, this would be the Left-Side Wedge.
